Massage Therapy

Massage therapy helps relieve muscle tension caused by pain, stress, sports injuries and headaches. Massage can be deep tissue, holistic, remedial, relaxing, Swedish or of the deep tissue sports variety. It also encompasses the use of lymphatic drainage, myo-fascial release and trigger-point techniques to enhance the treatment and get the best response from the tissues.

While living in Sydney Anja Kujas trained as a massage therapist, studying at the Australian College of Natural Therapies (ACNT) in Sydney. On moving to the UK she qualified as an ITEC practitioner.

Anja worked in a number of clinics, including the 5-star spa in Richmond, before joining the Spinal Joint Kingston team. No two people are the same and Anja tailors each massage to the needs of the client in terms of the techniques used and strength of the massage. She finishes of the massage with a hot towel wrap.

If you have tension anywhere in your body, a good deep tissue massage can relax you. Massage can relax you both physically and mentally as it helps release the tension that builds with stress, which if left can affect your health and well being.

£30 for 30 minutes and £55 for 60 minutes
